Wendy was raised in a Christian home and came to faith in Christ as a child. Serving her home church, Emmanuel Baptist (Chatham, ON) in a number of ministries (youth, choir, special music, etc.) laid a foundation for her to peruse post-secondary education at Ontario Bible College (now known as Tyndale University College and Seminary) where she earned her Bachelor of Religious Education.
During her three years at OBC she worked part time at the Fellowship National office and was asked to join the team full time. After serving nine years as Administrative Assistant, Wendy was appointed by the Foreign Mission Board to assume the role of Coordinator of Communications and Candidates.
Today Wendy serves as Media Coordinator for the National Fellowship. When asked what her role entails, Wendy writes, “Quite simply put, my role with the Fellowship is to communicate to our donors and 500+ churches across Canada what God is doing in and through the National Fellowship ministries.” Wendy produces all the written and electronic promotional materials for the Fellowship, cares for the Fellowship’s web sites, and oversees the production of the Fellowship’s English and French magazines.
In May 2016, Wendy married her best friend, Richard!
