As a child growing up in London, ON, Kelley’s parents shared with her about God’s love and their faith in Jesus Christ. “The first song I remember singing, as a little girl,” Kelley says “was Go Tell It On The Mountain (That Jesus Christ is Born)!”
At a young age she accepted Christ into her life, later solidifying that commitment at a church retreat with a desire to not just be a believer but a true follower of Jesus. It was as a student at the University of Guelph that Kelley first connected with Power to Change (then known as Campus Crusade for Christ) and it transformed her life as she learned about Lordship, the Spirit filled life and how to share the Gospel with her friends. Kelley also began to attend Calvary Baptist Church and it was at Calvary that Kelley was baptized in 2002 the summer between two years of missions overseas in East Asia with Power to Change as part of their international internship program.
Kelley joined Power to Change’s staff sixteen years ago, first spending two years in East Asia, next serving on campus in Halifax, Nova Scotia helping to build two new ministries and later directing our ministries at Waterloo and Laurier in Ontario. She currently lives in Kitchener and serves as a Staffed Campus Manager with Power to Change, equipping the campus Team Leaders and staff as they build student ministries across Canada. She has traveled on international missions to Asia, Africa and Europe. Kelley’s passion is to help students navigate their misconceptions and uncertainties about Jesus in the process of discovering His love and forgiveness.
